In the areas where we work, successfully completing primary school is the exception rather than the rule. The norm is early school leaving – often before important basic skills have been acquired. This leads to poverty, exploitation, and a lack of prospects.

We counter this with our vocational training projects: they are practically oriented and allow a quick entry into working life. However, because knowledge and skills alone do not guarantee a successful start to everyday working life, we also provide those starting their careers with the necessary tools.This enables them to quickly provide for themselves and their families with their income – and to be proud of the fruits of their labor.

Your CO-OPERAID sponsorship is your promise. A promise of real prospects for the future where there would otherwise be none. A promise of practical vocational training. With CHF 1.60 per day, you can change more than one life for the better.
